I am the Director of Learning & Development at Cruise - we are a technology driven commercial entity providing robotaxi and autonomous delivery services.
The problem that we are currently facing is that it appears as if managers cannot be a direct report of another manager. My company wants to use the Manager Experience functionality to allow managers to track the completion of trainings of their direct reports, especially for compliance-related courses. Since we have a multi-tiered organizational structure, manager often are the direct reports of other managers. I, for example, am a direct report of the Chief Human Resource Officer and I also have six direct reports. Without this capability, the Manager Experience capability is of no use to my organization.
