See the screen shot for a visual of my solution. As the previous LMS Admin who utilizes the Mark Attendance feature more. I receive hard copies from instructors, who do not have access to the system, of the actual rosters and sign-in-sheets. It would be ideal to add a feature to upload the scanned rosters for records. A number of attendees are external consultants that do not have an LC account nor will pay for one. I still need one place to store the master rosters. If a PDH / CEC is issued I defiantly need to track this information under the Course/Course Session - ILC Attendance.
This is something our old LMS had, and seems like a VERY simple thing to implement. We have a state requirement to retain copies of these sign in sheets for 3 years so not having it in the LMS is requiring way more work than it needs to be.
We've also had this feature on previous LMSs. It was incredibly helpful for being able to answer questions when we weren't in the same location (sometimes even the same state) as paper copies of sign in sheets. It also empowers other users to be able to answer their own questions without having an Admin bottleneck.
