Currently, adding competencies to users is really clunky. In order to assgn a competency, I need to add it to a related course or curriculum. OR, I can manually add it to users.
However, the only option for adding to users is by user name. It does not allow us to select multiple users from a list to assign a competency. It also does not allow us to bulk assign based on a group or department. Currently, the only way is to know the names of each user that the competency needs to be assigned to, which is unrealistic and a lot of work!

Our Client Success team brought to our attention that we misinterpreted the original request. The ask was for the ability to add a competency to a group or department of users, whereas we had understood it as the ability to add multiple competencies to a single user.
We sincerely apologize for the misunderstanding. We have removed the "Currently Available" status and reverted the idea to "Reviewed," so it is back in the queue for consideration.
At this time, we don’t have immediate plans for development in this area. However, as long as the idea remains in an open status (i.e., not marked as "Closed"), it will continue to be available for review by our Product Management team and could be prioritized if future plans align.
We appreciate your patience and understanding. We had hoped an existing solution would meet this need, but we acknowledge our mistake and regret any confusion this may have caused.
