add capability for alt text descriptions to all images uploaded to the LMS

Please implement alt text for all images that can be uploaded to the LMS according to WCAG 1.1 https://www.w3.org/WAI/WCAG21/quickref/?versions=2.0#text-alternatives. I assume Absorb LMS has not implemented this WCAG item for LMS images based on the last exception in the list -

  • Decoration, Formatting, Invisible: If non-text content is pure decoration, is used only for visual formatting, or is not presented to users, then it is implemented in a way that it can be ignored by assistive technology.

LMS images being used as "decoration" may have been the case for early versions of Absorb LMS, but with all the new features Absorb has added over the years, I think the LMS images are lending more to descriptive images that provide context to users, not just decoration. This is certainly the case with how we use the LMS. For example, we use images of people in different situations, representing different workplaces, roles or in context with the specific courses that we deliver, in the public dashboards, course tiles, and other large customisable graphic areas. I think these sorts of images would not be classed as decorative, because they are providing context to the user, so they should have alt text descriptions - to ensure a similar experience for vision impaired users.
