Change rows view from a default 20 to 100

We generally have users with more learning data, which definitely goes beyond 80 rows. Every time changing the row visibility manually is not feasible. Changing the row visibility to a default 100 would make navigation easier.

    Hello Admins!

I'm excited to announce that we've again prioritized including client suggestions in our product and you can find this functionality included in the July 2022 release, scheduled for Sunday the 24th.

D'Mitriy's idea is outstanding, and we have done exactly that - the items per page selection is now saved as part of the Organization Default Layout. This lets clients who want to see more line items on reports adjust this at their site, and doesn't force the longer reports on those clients who are interested in smaller data sets.

Thank you all for continuing to share your ideas, and please enjoy making use of this feature improvement!

    Hello Admins!

This item had been given lower priority due to the Favorite Saved Layout feature, which has the potential to meet similar use cases. However, since Saved Layouts can't be shared outside of Groups and not every admin is going to gain as much experience in the LMS as everyone here has, it does make sense to increase the default row limit to help less experienced admins find their data more intuitively.

The roadmap for 2022 is quite full, but we are currently targeting the August release for this change.

this should at least be implemented via the "set organization default" option where system admins can configure how each report appears from the get-go for all other reporting admins across the company.

    Hi everyone,

Robert and I took a look at this again and your follow up comments. We added a more applicable status. It's not that this is a bad idea, and it's not that we won't do it, we just don't know where this feature request sits in relation to all the other 100's of feature requests we have yet and other improvements we could do to reports.

As Robert said, we will take this in to consideration when we look at reporting improvements next year, and then update this ticket accordingly.

    Pamela

I see the option to save the custom layout, but no way to extend that setting as the organization default.

Robert Szustakowski - you just changed this to unlikely to implement, what David wrote is correct for favorite report layouts but I do find that when I set the items per page for the "Viewing Organization Default" that setting is not remembered. Maybe it's possible that can be taken into consideration also.

Thank you for submitting this idea, our team is investigating holistic improvements to the reporting experience, within this scope we will aim to make improvements which provide the most value to the highest number of clients and balancing this with performance and stability within the system. This idea along with other reporting enhancements will be taken into consideration for 2022.

This result can be achieved by customising the report that you want to show 100 rows and then set this as your favourite for that report. Each time you access this report it will by default show 100 rows. I must say it certainly worked for me. Dave

I agree that we have to change the number of rows on every report to accommodate learning records and even just the number of users we would like to view. Increasing the default would help to avoid another unnecessary click.

Add Items-Per-Page to Saved Default Org View

The new Organization Default View saves the column layout, but not the number of items per page. Can you please add Items Per Page to the Save Organization Default view? (Attached.) Thanks, Rick
