We have figured out, that whenever we import courses e.g. in SCORM format, the online course is automatically enabling the "lesson contains assessment" option. This is misleading since it does just enable it, no matter if the import contains an assessment or not and when reporting on "Assessment" there are then courses stating to have an assessment where it is not the case.
We would highly suggest to disable this option when importing courses. Admins shall decide on their own and enable, or, the system shall recognize if there is an assessment and act accordingly.
Thank you for sharing your suggestion with us. We appreciate the thought you put into helping us improve. After careful consideration, we see the value in your request but are not able to prioritize it at this time due to other roadmap priorities.
Our team works hard to balance initiatives that will have the greatest impact for our customers.
While we can’t pursue this in the near term, your idea will stay in our repository, and we will revisit it in the future when evaluating improvements to the course import experience.
This should not be for only when importing courses. We should be able to set this for all courses - to set it to 'lesson does not contain assessment' by default, and we would manually set it to 'lesson contains assessment' when there actually is an assessment.
