Change a due date retroactively

Currently, there is not a way to retroactively change the due date (e.g. moving the due date from Sept 1 to Oct 1) for already enrolled learners. Sometimes we change our minds about due dates after a course has been launched, and would like to be able to change that due date retroactively for people already enrolled.

We continue to have this as an issue when upper management decides to change the due date for organization wide mandatory training. Once it's launched we can't change the due date and it causes miscommunication with the learners when memos/email nudges say one date within them, but the system due date can not be change. Would love Absorb to find some sort of happy medium here that would help all users.

Hi Kelly, we're historically reluctant to make this kind of change due to the implications for clients with ecommerce enabled where a learner who paid for a course could suddenly have their access cut short. If this idea gets many more votes, we'll have to reconsider that position though!
