There are times in LMS where updates are made to courses from another database to complete courses in LMS. Going in to LMS and completing a class for someone using the objective evidence from a prior completion seems fine, but it does not allow a space for the explanation of why the update was made. It would be nice to have a place that will allow the admin to make comments and direct any future reviewers to the objective evidence location. If a review happens a year later, the LMS updater may not remember why a change was made without available notes.
I may be off here, but we use the notes function at the bottom of the course page. Would that provide you the historicals on what you are looking for?
