Hi, our environment uses the certificate include the legislative requirements that need to be covered by specific authorities at the time their training is carried out. These change over time and so our Certificate templates also need to change.
Currently if the certificate is changed the whole course history is also updated to the new template from when we started using Absorb, as these courses are also required to be completed every year/2 years.
We need to have the flexibility to choose if this is the action we want to carry out, because this causes an issue with our audits, which leaves us with the option of having to create a new course every time. So if a governing body changes, that can be over a hundred courses, but this information would be correct going forward but would not be correct for and historic completions and so provide false information for any future retrieval.
