Workspace Management functionality will support the copy/transfer of Workspace content (Courses and Media Library) across different Absorb Create accounts. This functionality will support scenarios where Create accounts need to be merged in addition to the copying or relocation of course collateral from one account to a different account.
In the Courses listing there is an option in the pull-down to “Move to Workspace”. If the list of Workspaces included a built-in location (perhaps “System workspace”), Courses could be moved to this system location and then transferred using the following steps:
Move each Course to the built-in “System workspace” location.
Set Workspace in Absorb Create to the target workspace.
Use “Import from System workspace” (new function) to import courses into the target workspace.
For content in the Media Library, adding an option in the “Move selected items to” pull-down would allow images, videos, and audio content to be copied directly into the Media Library for the “System workspace”. This selection option could appear immediately after the Archive option. Media Library content could then be moved from the “System workspace” location to the target workspace using the following steps:
Set Workspace in Absorb Create to the target workspace.
Click “Media Library”.
Use “Import from System workspace” (new function) to import content into the Media Library for the target workspace.
