In a previous LMS, I was able to easily enroll 2+ learners from just a list of usernames. I would enter usernames - essentially in a text field - and the LMS would verify the usernames and then enroll those learners who were active in the system. The LMS would also show me any learners that weren't enrolled because they weren't active in the system. I didn't have to use groups, departments, or any other attribute tied to the learner's profile to do a bulk enrollment.
This was extremely helpful when a SME would send me a list of learners from my organization who needed to take the training - sometimes more than 100 learners at a time. Many times, these learners were from all across my organization and not grouped together by their department or anything. My old system would allow me to just enter in the usernames and separate them by comma or line break in a text field.
I think this kind of bulk enrollment method would be extremely helpful in Absorb. Thanks!
I absolutely agree with this! My situation is very similar and it would make it much simpler if I could bulk enroll.
