It would be helpful for the expiration date of the online courses that are within a curriculum to display the expiration date the same way they do as a stand-alone course.
The expiration of the online courses being visible to the learner is a compliance requirement for our industry and would also ensure the learner knows when they course needs to be completed and will reduce the amount of times are admins are asked to extend course access to learners because they did not realize the course was expiring.
For example, we have an online course called, Mastering the Art of Time Management, this course can be purchased as a stand-alone course, but it is also included in many of our curriculums. Learners who purchase the course can clearly see the expiration date on the course tile, in the course overview, as well as the banner that pops up when they begin the course. The expiration date does not appear in any of those places when the course is part of a larger curriculum.
This impacts the vast majority of our external learners, and we utilize the LMS almost exclusively for external learners.
This improvement is critical to maintaining compliance with our governing board.
