Ability to add global resources as a course resource
Sometimes we have resources that we want attached to a course but they are also standalone resources. It would be nice to be able to add global resources to a course resource. It would eliminate some version control issues
Yes I would love this option. Currently if I have a document in Global Resources and want to include it in a course Resource, I have to log out as admin and go under Learner View, find the resource, open it, grab the url, go back to admin view, find the course, and add the link. It would be nice to be able to link directly to a resource without leaving the course builder.
Yep, like Frances suggests, ensure the course enrollees have access to the global resources, then simply get the hyperlink to that global resource and add that as your course resource.

You can deep link to the Global Resource as an 'Object' and as long as the Availability rules is not restricting access it'll work.
