I just posted about this after somehow not finding the many other posts about it.

Seems like this is a long overdue feature...

This would allow us to easily add one question/answer in multiple languages. Creating 25 questions in 10 languages, all with different language rules took forever.

We are in the process of considering AbsorbLMS as our new LMS. If this feature is not available, it would be impossible for us to choose it because we exclusively use test banks. Manual entry is not an option, especially for size of our student population and number of questions each course requires.

How has this been designated as 'unlikely to implement'? It makes no sense. This is such an obvious feature that would save so much time and it's honestly alarming that it hasn't been implemented yet.

Importing and exporting question banks simplifies and reduces the risk of error in the process of creating translations of those question banks.

Please make this a priortiy for 2023, obviously this was requested in 2021. Not having this option motivates me to look at other platforms and is beyond frustrating.

This is the kind of feature that I consider when looking at LMS features. Importing and exporting question banks saves a significant amount of time which equals revenue spent.

Absorb definitely needs a feature whereby questions from existing learning object assessment questions can be copied/imported into question banks. If an admin has taken the time to create a nice set of questions and they need to be reused, they wouldn't want to recreate one by one in a question bank.

It is painstaking to add in each question individually to a question bank, especially since you can't duplicate questions. Please get this on the roadmap!

This does need to be an option.

This should be reconsidered at least for the 2023 roadmap. As several others have noted, being able to export the Question Bank with answers would significantly reduce workload and time spent.

Absolutely need this feature. Using some standard format like QTI (or choose your standard).

We believe that this should be core functionality -- and has been in other LMSs we've used. Not sure why it's "unlikely to implement" since this would make the assessment tools useful for serious testing, such as for certifications. Also, in addition to importing questions, Absorb should be able to export question banks, either through a report or via APIs. Please, Absorb, catch up with your competitors and give your administrators' fingers a break!

This is a great idea, but with our 2021 roadmap complete and 2022 filling quickly, we are unlikely to get to this idea in a reasonable time frame.

We use QBs extensively for creating certification exams. This feature would be a huge improvement and would reduce the workload required for creating and updating QBs.
