It would be very helpful to be able to set up nudge emails targeting users with a specific course status. We want to send reminder emails to users who have enrolled but haven't started their course yet. The wording in these emails would be different from what is send to users who are In Progress. Right now you can only set one general nudge email for all enrolled users.
Yes! A nudge email based on each users status within a course would be excellent. We'd like to send a custom reminder email to those who have a course status of: Not Started, In-Progress and Pending Evaluation. Each email would have different instructions. Thanks for the suggestion.
We are most interested in Not Started and In Progress statuses for Nudge emails for online courses and curricula.
It could also be helpful for the Pending Evaluation Required status especially if a link to the evaluation could be added making it really easy for the learner to get to the evaluation and complete it. I think Absorb is working on making the evaluation more visible in the updated Learner Experience putting it in line with the course content so maybe the pending evaluation status will be less of an issue in the future.
I'd put in a vote for amount of time in a status, too. For example, those who are Not Started for more than a month or past Xdate.
And Not Complete, I suppose too.

Our Nudge functionality allows the use of a default or custom message template. The default template can be customized at the portal level, and the custom template can be edited at the course level allowing a custom nudge per course.
Enrollments in Absorb LMS can have 12 total statuses, 1 of which is 'absent' and only relates to ILCs so a nudge doesn't really make sense to those learners. Which are the ones you would consider sending a Nudge to?
This would be fabulous. We do not use the Nudge Email because it does not let you customize based on status or anything else.
