Don't delete course upload when course re-enrolled into

It would be great if there was an option to choose if when a user is re-enrolled into a course with a course upload, whether the original upload is overridden (and removed from the system) or if it is added to the system.

For compliance we would love the original upload to remain so that we can compare both uploads and refer back to them as required.

Please do consider adding this feature. It is frustrating for staff training as well as trainers. We are monitoring hundreds of trainees and need to be able to review their upload history at any time.

Is it possible to view these "historic uploads" within "historic enrollments?" In Historic Enrollments, I can see that learners did upload a document, but there is no way to access it.

We have turned off "allow re-enrollment" for all courses because it is deleting their previous uploads, which we need to retain.

Yes we need to retain evidence of competence for a minimum of 7 years. Many of our High-Risk work licences are only valid for 2 years so the regular turnover makes record keeping difficult for auditing and compliance purposes. I see no reason why course uploads must be overridden and would rather they be kept in the same module as a historic version.

    Hi there,

This is a great idea, may I know how you're addressing this need today?

Could you share a specific compliance use-case for historical upload data?

I agree that would be a good option to have

This should extend to Certificate Uploads as well in order to meet compliance needs.
