When bringing back the filemanager, pls include an option, so that system admins can choose/assign according to a department/country, sub-department structure, who can see/edit/change what files in the filemanager; e.g., German Marketing and German Sales departments can only see and/or access/edit specific files in the filemanager. Another country, e.g. Poland can only see and edit their own files etc. .... If possible, also included the possibility to choose specific admins (admin drop down?). This functionality should be independent of the users that have been assigned to an admin/that the admin can manage, specified in his/her user account (not like the current course visibility list functionality, which only works on a department level but not subdepartment level because of this.
We completely agree. We would love admins to have access to these files to add and update their content, but not access to every single file that is within file manager
