When you enable the file manager any admin with course creation privilege's can see all other files in the LMS. Each user should only see files they uploaded/maintain unless they are a super admin. We had to turn this feature off immediately after noticing this. Please put in place proper permissions so that all admin's can't see all files. I'm sure there are many other companies such as our that have departments that upload things related to employment or compliance and other users shouldn't just be able to delete it at will.
Can anyone verify my findings regarding permissions when this is enabled? I‘d just like to know I’m not crazy and that I was indeed seeing that anyone with admin privledges could see any file uploaded by other users.
