We would like to have the ability to set up enrollment rules based on X number of days after hire. For example, certain compliance courses need to be taken at different intervals after someone is hired (i.e. 30-days after hire, 60-days after hire, etc.). Adding this enrollment rule option so that the users are automatically enrolled when they hit these intervals would alleviate a lot of manual work and be very beneficial.
hey all - this aligns with my idea submission #28 ...... love it and need it.
Post enrollments work, but are not necessarily based on Hire Date, they are based on enrollment date. For us, this date is typically different as we have a feed that processes our User records, and they are not auto or manually processed on the actual day of hire.
This means that none of our enrollments for compliance purposes are actually based on the DATE that we need, which is hire date, not enrollment date.
This proposed functionality should optionally base enrollment start date on the Date Hired field, not triggered by when the enrollment was processed. This would allow later enrollments to calculate due period and enrollment start date based on the date field, and also allow for accurate Post Enrollment rules (e.g., enroll 7 days after DATE HIRED, not 7 days after initial enrollment). For compliance, even a day can matter!
FYI, this can be accomplished with post enrollment rules.

This is a great idea!! We have so many compliance curricula that new hires are auto-enrolled in from when they're hired on. It would be nice to be able to delay them so many days so they aren't inundated with so many curricula all at once.
