It would be helpful to add 'Is Supervisor' flag to the 'Users' list. That would allow filtering Supervisors from the Users list, communicate with them via Absorb, use mass actions, automate groups creation or course enrollments targeted to the specific group.

We used a "Is Manager" custom field in our previous LMS that allowed us to differentiate assignments, such as sexual harassment training (where there is a separate course for supervisors and managers). I am looking forward to the Manager Experience!
When we release our Manager Experience early next year some of the needs clients have around Supervisor should go away/be improved. We can share more information as we continue to develop this feature but I wanted to put this on your radar in case you have interest in this area.
