It would be really useful if there were options like "greater than" or "less than" when building out rules for syncing users from ADP. Also allow the value of the rule to be set to "Null". Couple those with a calendar so you can pick dates, makes defining rules so much easier and less prone to mistakes.
For Example, If I wanted to only Sync users that will start after a certain date and are from a certain business unit:
"Business Unit" equals "xxxx" and "Hire Date" greater than "9/24/2021"
Allowing the value to be "Null" would be very useful for setting accounts to inactive, for example:
"Termination Date" does not equal "Null" (as most companies won't set a value for that field until an employee is gone)
In addition to your ideas, which I also find useful! I would like to see the user sync initiate on the hire date listed of the employee in ADP. We are currently using the Onboarding feature in ADP, which means the minute someone accepts a job offer, they are entered into ADP, which means they get pulled into the system. We have a "stop" to this by saying, "don't add anyone without a [company name] email address," however, we are still getting users added to the LMS several weeks before their actual hire date. This causes courses with auto-enrollment rules to assign well before they even have started, and in some cases, courses are already overdue for the learner on their first day. Adding in a rule that says, "Do not sync any user until Hire Date" would help this issue.
