It would be helpful to allow users to log in with their email as an option along with the username.
All of our learners log into the Learner Experience directly from the log in page. There has been a lot of confusion when logging in, since many people try to log in with their email in the "username" field and get an error even with the correct password. Other log-ins on sites that we use have the option for username or email in the first field, and I think it's a basic feature that should be available.
In the Department Templates under Log in tab there could be a toggle on/off for username or email being the preferred log in screen fields. The reset password allows the learner to reset it using either one, which in our situation would be nice to be ALSO be able to control bc we do have a few Learners whose email is duplicate from Department to Department but they do have the unique username.
I don't know if you could implement this, but in our organisation, we use their email address as the username so that it avoids any such confusion.
