Allow learners to Enroll in Multiple Sessions
Merged
Additional flexibility for ILC course sessions would enable the following: -The ability for learners to select only relevant sessions -The ability to have multiple tracks within a single ILC Course
We also find this issue when their is one ILC with multiple sessions spread through out the year. Specifically with refresher or networking courses. We would like staff to be able to sign up for as many as they would like during the year without having to create an ILC for each month and then create 1 sessions for the specific date and time. This can become burdensome and creates LMS content bloat.
One of our courses is held every month and each session represents a different topic. To allow a learner to enrol in all sessions of relevance at the same time would be great rather than waiting for one session to be completed before they can re-enrol into another.
Thanks Paul, I don't see that being useful for our case since it would make tracking overall completion. inaccurate. If we had a 3 part course, learners would be "complete" having attended just one session. The way I picture fitting our need is like Online courses (or curriculums), where ILC Sessions can be arranged in chapters (groups) and learners can complete 1 of x in each chapter (group).
We too could make things easier with what this sounds like.
We often offer ILCs that have more than one session, but it's not certain that the same people take the same path with the subsequent session, so recurrence doesn't help us. Currently we'd have to set up two ILCs, part 1 and part 2 and package them in a curriculum.
Allow a user to enroll in multiple ILC sessions for the same course. Currently, you cannot enroll in multiple sessions from the courses on the same day, even if they are not overlapping sessions. This is especially problematic for our customers, w...
Same as Drew, this creates a terrible user experience.
I think this is a duplicate of another submitted idea about "lunch and learn"

Hi Drew and Dylan, can you make use of the Allow Renrollment setting on ILCs to achieve the learner outcome you are looking for?
It is unfortunate that this is "unlikely to implement." Our learners benefit from, and enjoy, being able to take a class multiple times.
