Absorb functions well to create a course learning environment but it does not function well as a reference manual. If learning and reference are kept separate then it requires updating across multiple platforms to support new learners as well as existing employees. Absorb should allow content creators to download all text from within a course so that it could easily be converted into a word doc that could be searched for key words or ideas and thus function as a manual. As it stands, to use a course as a reference guide you would have to scroll through all the slides to find the content you are looking for and this does not work well when you need info quickly in the moment on the job.
