I'm in the process of updating 600+ course thumbnail images to align with our updated LMS user interface. Unless I'm unaware of all the Absorb functionality provided to admins, it is absolutely mind blowing that I'm limited to updating each course thumbnail individually! This is currently the most time-consuming user experience and will take me days to make all of these changes. To put it into perspective, we currently have a category that houses 391 courses, which means I'm forced to individually select a course > edit > save to make this simple change.
It is crucial for Absorb to consider adding functionality that provides admins the ability to filter for courses by category > bulk select multiple or all courses within a category > edit category visibility > choose file for thumbnail > save and done. This functionality is not just a 'nice to have', it will significantly improve the admin user experience by 1000% and save ample time.
Are you using the same image for all your courses? If so, there is a way that you can improve this for future updates (though it won't help you with the current one). Upload the new thumbnail to the file manager for the first course you are updating. Then, for each additional course you are updating, select that same image in the file manager. All your courses will then be using the same image. In the future, if you need to update it, you can go into the file manager and use the 'Replace' function to update that image. Everywhere that image is used will also be updated.
