In Absorb Create, it would be very useful if we had the functionality to export the training materials as both a Powerpoint and PDF. This would have a number of benefits:
1. In creating trainings, especially more detailed trainings with lots of words, it would allow us to easily circulate the text to outside experts or other collaborators. Some of our potential collaborators (like our CEO and outside counsel) prefer to review materials and provide their comments on paper. In addition, if we could export the trainings as a powerpoint, that would allow our collaborators to provide their feedback by editing the slides directly or typing into the notes.
2. For compliance purposes, for certain of our mandatory trainings, we need to keep a hard copy of the trainings. In one unique use case, we actually have to provide PDF copies of our trainings to a regulatory agency on an annual basis.
3. Lastly, we would ideally like to be able to upload a hard copy of the slides as a PDF that can be uploaded into the course that learners would download and keep as a takeaway.
Thank you for submitting this idea. We are looking into various ways to solve the need described.
Agree with you. Importing PowerPoint is possible, but the other way around is not supported in Create. Publishing a course in PDF and PowerPoint formats is extremely helpful and very needed.
