Currently when a new version of a course is created, the learner can be re-enrolled however there is no email that goes out nor does the course show as "Not Started" in the learner dashboard; it still shows as complete. This feature would be great to have as policies and procedures get updated frequently and must be reviewed by the learner if a content change is made. Once a course is saved as a new version, it should be notify the learner via email just like a regular course and it should tell the learner when they log in that they have not yet started it. We should also be able to see each version of the course a learner has reviewed when the course activity report is generated.
