Post-enrollment rule update: Add learner to group

Currently, the post-enrollment rule only allows us to enroll learners into another course. It would be helpful for us if the post-enrollment rule could include the option of adding a learner to a group. This would be helpful because we use the group to make other courses visible (not auto-enrolled) to members of the group.

David, any idea on when this might be revisited? It is a core function found in other platforms. Surprised the only post enroll action is to enroll in a course vs putting those users into a group (which gives you more dynamic capabilities to create learning experiences)

Thank you for taking the time to share your idea with us. We truly appreciate the thought and effort you’ve put into suggesting this improvement. While we recognize the value of your request, our current roadmap commitments and resource constraints prevent us from prioritizing it at this time.

However, we understand how this functionality could greatly enhance the learning experience, and we want to assure you that your idea remains in our repository. We will revisit it as we continue evaluating improvements to course creation and editing, including the ability to add users to a group when setting a post-enrollment rule.

Your feedback is invaluable in shaping our platform, and we sincerely appreciate your continued support and engagement. Thank you for contributing to our growth!

Add a New Operator to Post Enrollments

It would be impactful to be able to add users to a Group as a Post Enrollment action. For example, When Enrolled or Completed the course...add users to Group X.
