Currently nudge emails are sent on an interval based on the time a learner enrolls in the course, this is limiting when enrollment and expected completion have a long time span in between them, the ability to set when nudge emails should start being sent would ensure that nudges don't have to be sent far ahead of the required completion date
Adding a start date for Nudge emails is very different from basing the nudge emails on due date. The merged idea needs to be unmerged and reconsidered. There should also be flexibility on the frequency of nudges. As you get closer to the due date, nudges go out more often. eLogic's functionlity with due date reminders worked quite well.
Hello Admins!
Setting a start date for Nudge Emails was added to Absorb LMS in the April release. Now regardless of the schedule you set up, no nudges will be sent prior to the Start Date and Time setting.

Thank you for the suggestion! We've been getting a lot of suggestions on how we could improve upon and clarify Nudge Email behaviour. We will be taking this back to the development team to investigate potential options.
