When a user clicks on a badge or competency within a course (or on the Transcript), they are taken to a page that runs a search of the competency to show other courses that also offer the same competency - or it would seem. Because most competencies are likely one course only more than multiple competencies offered by the same course, this button doesn't seem to make alot of sense and in my companies case - will show only the same course the user just completed as a result. Ideally, allow us to control this the same way we can control the Recommendations feature. And if that is not possible, give us the ability to disable it if needed.
100% agree - just started using badges and would love to be able to disable or remove this button.
I agree 100% with this post. We just set up badges based on competencies. The "Find Related Courses" just takes the learner back to the curriculum that they completed for the competency. Assigning the competency to related courses is undesirable because the learner would then earn a badge but not complete the required courses within the curriculum. Now we're stuck figuring out how to notify the learner to not click the "Find Related Courses" button. Being able to disable this button would be very helpful. Or, link related courses to tags associated with the Competency.
