As an administrator, if i have duplicate courses or courses that i don't need, you can't batch those courses together and delete them, You have to go to each course and delete it by itself. Is there a way we could get batch removal for courses you don't need? It's very time consuming for me because we have over a thousand courses easy.
Add another vote for having a batch delete course option! It is a pain having to delete a course one at a time.
Also would recommend the option to do a batch active/inactive toggle on/off as well.
I agree. Last year when we were setting up the LMS before we started using it in production, we made a mistake with our BizLibrary content and converted about 9,000 courses without a self-enroll option enabled. Fortunately, Absorb offered to delete them out on their end, since we would have had to press delete 9,000 times to do it on our side.
What I would recommend is being able to batch delete courses (be able to select more than one and still have a "Delete" button), and like Jason said, maybe require an admin password to be entered, or have a recycle bin where deleted courses go, which automatically empties after 30 days or something.
I've also discovered that some of our BizLibrary courses we convert I would like to get rid of, so they don't show up on our un-converted course list, but are not something I want to have in our files, since they aren't applicable. In these cases, it'd be useful to be able to convert them, and then mass delete them.
We recently discontinued our contract with Linkedin Learning and so there are thousands of LL courses that are just sitting there and tking up space and cluttering our catalogs. It would take a very long time to delete them 1 courses at a time, i believer there are over 8000 currently. A mass delete courses feature would make sense to have. If you are concerned about security or soemone accidentally deleting the courses, perhaps tying a password to this feature might help?
I agree! There are times where it's necessary to delete more than one course at a time. We have the capability to delete multiple users, multiple groups, multiple enrollments, etc which all pose the same risk of losing data. I posted basically the same idea titled "Ability to delete multiple courses/curricula at once".
