With this latest update comes new challenges for us.
Previously, when the UI of the "Manage Grades & Attendance" page was in A5, we were able to use saved layouts with specific columns that we could use for all of our ILC sessions to pull specific session data. This is how saved layouts work within all of the other pages in the Admin portal. Now in AR, any time you create a saved layout within the "Manage Grades & Attendance" page, it will save the session information within the saved layout, making it impossible to use that saved layout for another ILC session. See the attached screenshot to see what I am referring to. You can see I am trying to view session information for one ILC session, but the green session filter is pulling information for a completely different ILC session. You cannot update this filter to match the session you are actually trying to look at, nor can you remove that filter.
We need to be able to create saved layouts within the "Manage Grades & Attendance" and have the new filter update to match to the session we are trying to look at or, at the very least, be able to update that session filter, which we are not able to do.
This is broken. There is no way to use saved layouts now within manage grades & attendance.
I submitted a ticket for this exact issue as I thought it was an error only to be told it is working as intended. This is absurd. No other report limits the selection of a course when a template is applied. This is EXTREMELY inconvenient and poorly executed.
Please revert this to its previous functionality or adjust the ability to change the session filter to the corresponding session.
