The ability to have a set of options which determines the content that appears on the transcript would enable the ability to cater the transcript to different audiences
With a new focus on learning and innovation, our job titles now require continuing education for bonus eligibility. Learners want to know how many hours of learning they have done in the year. Showing learning time or duration (or both, I know those fields are different) on the transcript would be super helpful.
Our facility requires administration to provide a audit of completed courses over a 4 year span and at time 2 year span. Having staff transcript customize layout and filters would be ideal. Because current enrollment only list the current, not the four year record. Second, Enrollment history is not customized layout. 3rd: I have to look at two different reports to discover the user complete record. because if some courses do not issue a certificate or course credit the courses will be overlooked. The only way an admin can discover and filter if a course was completed in the timeline is review current enrollment, and historical enrollment, which is not streamlined or Ideal. Our workaround is to ensure course credit is provided to all courses going forward. But that does not help us now, because credit is not retroactive.
To answer your question, for me, it would be helpful to be able to filter the results by course or curriculum name, enrollment or completion date, or status. Sorting options would also be nice but less impactful for me than the filtering.
The reason the transcript view on the admin side is less helpful is because we have compliance courses that are completed every year so most of our trasnscripts have multiple lines with the same course name and I have to look through each entry to find the current one. I attached a screen shot of my own trasncript so you can get an idea of what I am talking about.

Might you expand further on the specific needs from the admin perspective for which you would like configuration, filtering and sorting?
It would also be helpful to be able to sort and filter the transcript on the admin side.
