Just as there are enrollment rules that can be setup for courses, it would be nice to setup un-enrollment rules.
Use case: we have a rule for all users with company email addresses to be assigned certain IT training. Eventually, some of these users remain employees, but their technology/email is removed as their role may change. There is no way to auto un-enroll people from courses, based on that change in criteria. We must go in and manually clean those up periodically to have accurate reporting.
I'd like to add a use-case scenario to this and I think it may apply to lots of organisations.
The essential feature request here is to ask for auto un-enrolments - when there is a business change.
Live example.
Background: We are a Supermarket chain and hire employees and have employees change departments and groups on a regular basis.
Let's take a new hire as an example:
All new hires start in Customer Service (Department) as a Customer Service Rep (Title / Role).
These new hires all receive the same curriculum - most of this curriculum is mandatory with reassignment.
After a period of time - the new hire will be allowed to choose to try other areas of the business or stay in Customer Service.
Those who move, will get other curriculum which often overlaps but is different to the current "Customer Service" Curriculum. We DO NOT want the current enrolments to stay - as these people will receive re-assignment when the time comes.
However - the Customer Service people are fine to stay enrolled.
Un-Enrolment would allow us to move people around the different curriculum/courses fluidly so they are not still enrolled into content they no longer need to be enrolled in.
If we're missing something from a system approach - I'd love someone to reach out and explain, or discuss the nitty-gritty details.
Thanks!

yep si dynamic rules and not static.!!!!!
We use groups for this reason. If you give someone a competency that feeds to a group then if they are no longer in that category you can remove the competency which removes them from the group.
