Right now in a course, there are options an admin can select that the user has to take all chapters, all chapters in order, or assessments only. Would love the option to be able to select which ones are required, and which ones are optional (keeping the other options as well.)
You might also want to vote on this idea which is essentially the same thing: LMS-I-1765
This is required not just for chapter level, but also for content within a chapter. For example, I may group 5 pieces of content into one chapter entitled "leadership", but I only require a minimum of 2 items out of the 5 to be completed for the chapter to be completed and for the learner to be able to move on to the next chapter.
Agree - Allow admins to decide on a lesson & course level that the content is optional. We have a few courses in a curriculum that we don't want to be required in order to receive the certificate. We also have use cases when a lesson within a course isn't necessary in order to complete the course. Our saas product is very customizabe, so we want users to be able to skip content that does not apply to them, but want to include it in the main curriculum for those that need to know.
The current option to designate a number of courses that count for completion is not specific enough.
Agreed - we'd like to have an optional survey link to Microsoft Forms as an object on courses where there are no exams.
