With the new Manager Experience it would be good if a 'manager' can add learners to a waitlist.
Since the 'pending approval' option does not work in ME, we have had to turn self enrolments off for ILC's. (which we planned to do anyway as learners were choosing dates that did not suit the business).
This results in the manager/supervisor having to enrol their learners.
Therefore, a learner cannot add themselves to the waitlist.
A manager/supervisor cannot add a learner to the waitlist.
And admin/sys admin cannot add a learner to the waitlist.
This means that the waitlist cannot be used at all for ILCs.
We also have an instructor-led course that we want only managers to enroll users into. Since it says Session Full, it creates extra admin work having to notify managers that a spot has opened and we might also have to unenroll users from a future session to fill the spot that was freed up.
