We have over 70 instructors who all want to instruct courses. In our old system (built in house) we allowed them to log in and then "Request" to instruct an upcoming course. It works the same way a user would enroll except it goes into a different table and we can then view who has requested to instruct. This way we can see who is interested and assign courses in a more equitable fashion across the board. Once selected to instruct we change their status from requested to assigned and they are all set to teach. This would help us eliminate our old system as we still use it for the instructors and then enter who is chosen into Absorb.
Thank you for taking the time to share your idea with us. We truly appreciate your input. After careful consideration, we’ve determined that we are unable to prioritize this suggestion at this time. While we recognize the value of your request, our current roadmap commitments and resource constraints prevent us from pursuing it in the near future.
That said, your idea remains in our repository, and we will revisit it as we continue exploring improvements to ILCs, including the potential ability to request to instruct a course.
Your feedback is invaluable in shaping our platform, and we genuinely appreciate your contribution to its growth. Thank you!
